  • Are there refunds?

    Because this workshop will be recorded, there are no refunds. Please do not sign up if you can not make the workshop date and time.

  • What if I have to leave early/join late?

    That's fine! The lecture will be recorded and you can watch the part you missed back.

  • Who is this workshop for?

    This workshop is open to anyone that identifies as a deathworker (no matter your experience level and no matter what kind of deathwork you do), professionals (social workers, therapists, counselors, physicians, nurses, teachers, etc.) and grievers.

  • What is the ThanaLab?

    The ThanaLab is a partnership between the School of American Thanatology and independent thanatologist Cole Imperi. The ThanaLab is the home of thanatological curiosity, spirited partnerships and heartfelt research.

  • Can I use this for continuing education?

    Each profession has different requirements so please reach out to your association, organization or licensing board in advance. A Certificate of Completion is included for those that complete the workshop. This is provided to you digitally and you are able to download it. It will list the number of hours and your name. The School is also happy to communicate with your association/organization to clarify any aspect of the training.

  • Can I attend both dates?

    Yes! The SAME workshop will take place on Saturday, December 10, 2022 from 2–5pm and on Saturday, January 14, 2023 from 2–5pm. You can attend EITHER date. (Or both, if you want!) In addition, you will have access to recordings from BOTH workshop dates.
